Nick is our head pharmacist. He’s the third generation of pharmacists at Carl’s since its inception in 1932. Nick has dedicated his 16 year career to passionately assist his patients. He is also a licensed pharmacist in three countries. Before joining Carl’s team Nick was the head Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart. Also, he has held many senior positions in several pharmaceutical companies. Nick is a certified injector.
Our pharmacist Jana brings passion and dedication to our pharmacy team with her 10+ years combined experience. Her wide-range of experience including: hospital, home care and retail pharmacy is an asset to the pharmacy. Her compassion, caring and commitment to the safety of patients is what makes her special.
Koko began work at Carl’s Pharmacy in 1991 for Carl Horowitz. A year later she purchased the Pharmacy from Carl. Her many years since then have been filled with an infinite number of great experiences and positive interactions. Either with patients or other healthcare professionals in port credit. Koko loves helping patients through challenging experiences and strives to make their lives better. Her future plans include teaching a pharmacy technician program at a local college.
Mirette has been working at Carl’s Pharmacy since April 2016. She also assists in the pharmacy & helps in front store management as well. Our pharmacy and front store teams work together to provide excellent customer service. They also promote patient and community wellness.
Stella has been at Carl’s Pharmacy since 2002. She studied nursing and economics in Uruguay. Stella used to work as a cook as well. She is well known by her sense of humour and friendliness!
Kathy has been working at Carl’s Pharmacy since July 2016 and has been a regular customer for almost 2 decades. She studied Print Journalism at Sheridan College and later psychology at U of T. She enjoys working at Carl’s because she can work where she resides, right here in Port Credit! Carl’s has not only been a part of her community but a part of her family.
Audrey has been at Carl’s for a year. She currently studies physiotherapy
